Bochum, April 25th. 2017 – At this year’s transport logistic fair in Munich, TRAFINEO is represented for the first time with its own booth (Hall A6, booth 128). In the fair’s spotlight are many new products, as well as the announcement of the exclusive partnership with the Ferry service provider PIQUE Ferry Agency.
Ferries throughout Europe
With the new partnership, TRAFINEO is expanding its on-road service portfolio with all relevant ferry connections within Europe up to northern Africa. Also the use of the Eurotunnel is possible via the new partner.
Barrier-free travel throughout the United Kingdom including London Congestion Charge
With the product bundle Drive Britain, TRAFINEO offers additionally to the handling of all major on-road and value-added services in the UK, now as the only provider in Europe, the cash-free handling of the London City toll via fuel cards. This product package ensures a barrier-free drive throughout Great Britain.
E-Charging Network with over 27,000 charge points and related smartphone application
TRAFINEO is also expanding the existing scope of services with a broad network of public charge points for hybrid or purely electric operated passenger cars. Over 27,000 charge points are registered in the network.
In addition to quick charging and the simple cash-free handling, drivers also benefit from a newly developed smartphone application for Android and iOS. Users can access much real-time information via the app, such as availability, duration, price calculation and vehicle compatibility. This is why they always find the quickest way to the closest charge point in their immediate surrounding or on the route to their destination. This offer starts in Germany, the Netherlands as well as Austria and is going to be continuously expanded.
Pre-registration for the extension of the German tolling system in 2018
In addition, the focus of this year’s fair will be the expansion of the German tolling system (40,000 km of federal roads are added) in 2018, for which TRAFINEO offers an online pre-registration. TRAFINEO takes care of the complete registration and prepares companies ideal for the upcoming extension of the tolled road network in Germany.
TRAFINEO presents the next generation of acceptance devices
With TrafiCOM, TRAFINEO presents the next generation of acceptance devices. The handling of cashless transactions will become even more convenient with the Android-based device. TrafiCOM appears in smartphone design, reads QR-codes, RFID-chips and will complete TRAFINEOs tried and tested terminal solution.
